Daggermark Municipal NPCs
Note that each Daggermark Municipal NPC has a unique reputation (noted in parantheses).
Dubalaney Gore (N)
Swickey Frummage (N)
Demitri Pietre (N)
Sergeant of the Lance Varendine Saxxon
(a.k.a. Mithrandi) (A)
Dubalaney Gore (N)
(Lord of the New Moon, Mayor of Daggermark)
(Paladin of Erastil).
Special Note: The closest thing the GM has to a personal avatar in the game is Gore. Bear that in mind when you speak rudely or think of shenanigans around him...
Gore was born and raised in Taldor, but has called Daggermark home for 20 years. He made a small reputation for himself as a paladin of Erastil while fighting in a variety of wild lands, including the World Wound and much of the River Kingdoms.
Throughout the winter of need, his stated goal was to bring to the city a sense of single community facing natural and monstrous

hardships together, stoically. Knowing the history of Daggermark, and the job required of the mayor in this time of suffering, Gore pursues a "Law and Order for Everyone" agenda, and a "head-for-an-eye" sentencing system. Hangings were a bi-weekly event through the Winter of Need (but thankfully have dropped off since the thaw came). Whatever his means, crime is down, and gratitude is up.
He wears the traditional title for mayor of the city, unafraid to use deadly force in advance, if he thinks it will save him some trouble down the road. He is never without at least two paladins as bodyguards, and he has no illusions as to how his term as mayor will likely end...
He has taken an interest in the Downriver, spending much time there, where need is greatest for law and continuity, as the section rebuilds from the proxy civil war.

Swickey Frummage
(Captain of the Daggermark Auxilliary).
Note that for all purposes, Frummage and Gore share the same reputation.
A half-orc warrior and personnel friend of Dubalaney Gore from days adventuring together across Avistan. He is also a worshipper of Erastil, and is a local to Daggermark. His size and strength are his best known features. He is a de facto junior mayor for the western half of the city.

Dmitri Pietri
(Lord of Horse for the region of Daggermark).
Pietre is a distant relative to a Taldoran king who ruled some 1,300 years ago, and he carries himself as though the era was current and the relation direct. He is known for his arrogance, which is thankfully surpassed by his courage and horsemanship; this is a fair trade for the mayor. The cavalry’s economic power in Daggermark is great, giving Pietre a good deal of influence with a wide variety of areas. This influence grew over the Winter of Need; Daggermark's cavalry was given the responsibility for bringing food safely to the city. While Gore scoured the city of its black market suppliers and dealers, only Pietri knew what really was happening to the economic system outside the city.
Pietri, the Lord of Horse for almost a decade, has had a feud with Dartone D'Fehr since the latter's arrival. Pietri purged his cavalry of Thrune loyalists before the civil war was over. He has some loyalties to certain Andorans under To'Masil Vaylen, and none to the Devil's Quarter.
Varendine Saxxon
(a.k.a. Mithrandi)
(Sergeant of the Lance).
Saxxon is the alias used by Mithrandi, an old acquaintance of Cerenthir from his days before he knew Vazrun. (Note that unless Cerenthir reveals this and her real name, it is unknown to the party.)
She has lived in Daggermark for about 4 years now, and has worked her way up the ranks within the heavy cavalry.
